DESCRIPTION:Speakers: Kevin Pedro (Fermilab)\n\nMany attempts to determine
the nature of dark matter assume that a single elementary particle is res
ponsible for this unknown phenomenon. Results from direct detection\, indi
rect signatures\, and collider searches all place strong bounds on this ex
planation.Therefore\, there has been a surge of interest in "hidden valley
" models with new\, dark forces\, separate from the standard model of part
icle physics. If the dark force is similar to the standard strong force\,
the outcome would be composite dark matter in the form of "dark hadrons".
These models provide unique signatures that would evade the existing bound
s on elementary dark matter. We will focus on the status and prospects of
collider searches for the most difficult signature\, semivisible jets con
taining both visible particles and invisible dark hadrons.\n\nhttps://even
