DESCRIPTION:FMI Political Economy Reading Program at Texas Tech University
 The Political Economy Reading Program is an extracurricular\, non-credit r
 eading program in which students participate in twice-weekly discussions a
 bout topics in economics and political economy. Participants that successf
 ully complete the program receive a $1\,000 scholarship.The Free Market In
 stitute is currently accepting applications for an invitation to participa
 te in the Fall 2025 Political Economy Reading Program. All full-time under
 graduate students from any field of study at Texas Tech University are eli
 gible and encouraged to apply for an invitation to participate.The program
  will begin with an introductory meeting\, followed by ten (10) regular di
 scussion meetings to be scheduled for Mondays and Thursdays from 5:00-6:15
  PM between August 25\, 2025 and October 30\, 2025.Participants will also 
 attend a mandatory multi-school summit at Southern Methodist University (S
 MU) in Dallas\, TX. Participants will interact with students from other sc
 hools participating in a similar reading program. The Institute will arran
 ge for round-trip transportation for all participants.To apply for an invi
