The Texas Tech University School of Veterinary Medicine is excited to offer RaiderVet Veterinary Technician Continuing Education this summer. This 2-day program of lectures and labs offers veterinary technicians in our community a chance to refresh and develop clinical skills and abilities. Faculty and staff will cover a range of essential skills necessary for success in various scenarios routinely experienced by veterinary technicians. Technicians, assistants, and veterinary support staff are welcome! 

This program has been RACE-approved for 20 hours of continuing education credit with up to 14 hours available to attendees. Credits earned will depend on the course(s) for which a participant is registered and attends.

Day 1 offers Small Ruminant FAMACHA Scoring Certification and equine skills opportunities. 
Day 2 includes concurrently running programming for small and large animal tracks. Please use the drop-down menus to confirm your specific sessions and lunch during the registration process.

Attire for FAMACHA Scoring Certification is clean coveralls and boots that can be disinfected. Please wear clean scrubs and closed-toe shoes for all other activities.


All sessions have participant registration limits.
