- LECTURE
- Listen to a TTU SVM veterinarian host a lecture on parasite management
- Discover reasons and learn correct procedures for testing for parasites in small ruminants, including fecal egg counts
- Learn how to make informed decisions about herd health and costs
- Learn how to use a FAMACHA score card
9:30 am – 11:00 am
- LAB
- Perform fecal egg counts with microscopes
- Get hands-on practice with FAMACHA and body conditioning scoring on live sheep and goats
- Become certified in the FAMACHA scoring process
11:00 am – 12:00 pm
