Thank you for your interest in the 2026 Texas Tech School of Banking. Before registering below, please carefully read the messages below about Sunday, August 9th, and our substitutions and cancellations policy.

Sunday August 9th

All attendees are expected to attend a mandatory orientation dinner and reception starting at 6:00 pm. More information will be provided after registration.

We dedicate Sunday, August 9th to covering credit and lending topics (no credit and lending topics are covered during the Monday through Friday Bank School week). Two tracks will run simultaneously from 11:00 am to 4:00 pm (with a working lunch provided), and you may attend either one.

Track 1 will be “introductory / beginner,” designed to introduce someone with little or no lending experience to the commercial lending area of the bank. We believe that everyone in banking, regardless of which functional area of the bank they work in, should have a basic knowledge and understanding of credit and the lending process.

Track 2 will be "intermediate / advanced" topics plus case studies for lenders who have had previous credit training and/or have had several years of experience making commercial loans at their institution.

Both tracks are offered every year of the bank school. During registration, you will either opt in to attend Sunday or opt out. If you opt in, you will choose which track to attend. However, you may change this at any time, even up to the day of the tracks.

For a schedule and list of topics covered in the Sunday tracks, please click here.

Please note: Attending any or all of Sunday's credit & lending sessions is not required to receive your Texas Tech Certificate in Commercial Banking.
