The TTU DFW iOS Design Lab plans to offer individual sessions to cover the 5 Levels listed below.
Level 1: Foundation
Focus: Introduction to iOS design principles, user interface (UI) and user experience (UX) fundamentals.
Content:
- Overview of Apple's Human Interface Guidelines (HIG)
- Basic UI elements (buttons, labels, text fields, etc.)
- Introduction to design thinking and user-centered design
- Prototyping tools and techniques (basic wireframing)
Learning Activities:
- Hands-on exercises with Xcode and SwiftUI
- Group projects on simple app design
- Lecture by experienced iOS designer
Level 2: Intermediate
Focus: Deeper dive into iOS design patterns, interaction design, and usability testing.
