TTT Level Descriptions

There are 5 Levels of Total Teaching Transformation. Each level's content and learning activities are included below.


Level 1: Foundation - TTU Badge 

 

Focus: Introduction to iOS design principles, user interface (UI) and user experience (UX) fundamentals.  

 

Content: 

-Overview of Apple's Human Interface Guidelines (HIG)  

-Basic UI elements (buttons, labels, text fields, etc.)  

-Introduction to design thinking and user-centered design  

-Prototyping tools and techniques (basic wireframing)  

 

Learning Activities: 

-Hands-on exercises with Xcode and SwiftUI 

-Group projects on simple app design  

-Lecture by experienced iOS designer  


Level 2: Intermediate 

 

Focus: Deeper dive into iOS design patterns, interaction design, and usability testing.  

 

Content: 

-Advanced UI design principles (navigation, information architecture, visual hierarchy)  

-Interaction design best practices (animations, transitions, gestures)  

-Usability testing methods and analysis  

-Accessibility guidelines for iOS apps  

 

Learning Activities: 

-Design challenges with specific user scenarios  

-User testing sessions with prototypes  

-Collaborative design sprints  

-Introduction to design systems and style guides  


Level 3: Advanced  

 

Focus: Mastering iOS design for complex apps, performance optimization, and design leadership.  

 

Content: 

-Adaptive design for different screen sizes and devices  

-App performance optimization (graphics, animations, memory management)  

-Design leadership and team collaboration  

-User research methodologies  

-Emerging design trends and technologies (AR, VR, machine learning)  

 

Learning Activities: 

-Complex app design projects  

-Performance optimization challenges  

-Design reviews and critiques  

-Mentoring opportunities for junior designers  


Level 4: Specialization 

 

Focus: In-depth exploration of specific areas of iOS design (e.g., UI/UX for specific platforms, design for accessibility, design for specific industries).  

 

Content: 

-Advanced topics within chosen specialization  

-Industry-specific design challenges  

-Collaboration with experts in the field  

 

Learning Activities: 

-Research projects on specialized topics  

-Industry-based design challenges  

-Guest lectures from industry leaders  


Level 5: Mastery 

 

Focus: Cultivating design leadership, innovation, and mentorship.  

 

Content: 

-Design strategy and vision  

-Innovation and design thinking  

-Mentorship and coaching  

-Building and leading design teams  

 

Learning Activities: 

-Design leadership workshops  

-Mentorship programs  

-Participation in industry conferences and events  

-Collaborative projects with external partners
